Please read the letter below regarding the consultation on the academy’s 2025 – 26 admissions policy. The consultation period will run from 2nd October 2023 until 13th November 2023; during this time, parents and other key stakeholders are invited to express their views and any concerns about the admission arrangements at Wodensborough Ormiston Academy
In accordance with the DfE’s 2021 statutory ‘School Admissions Code’ guidance, as a school we must consult on our admission arrangements when changes are proposed, and at least once every seven years. For this reason, a consultation is currently being held to meet the academy’s statutory duty; however, it should be noted that no substantive changes have been made. Our policy has been updated to ensure consistency in terminology and adherence to local admissions practice
