Dear parent, we are aware that you will have been notified of the cancellation of the first transition day on Wednesday 5th July due to the strike day. However, Wodensborough Ormiston academy remain whole heartedly committed to make sure that each and every child joining us has the very best opportunity to learn more about our school and to settle into the WOA family.
For this reason, we have made the decision to continue with both transition days and the parent welcome evening as planned. this means that we will open our door as expected on both the 5th and the 6th of July.
We are notifying primary schools of this decision and will ensure that we promote this on our social media pages and school website. A copy of the previous letter sent out with details for these events is also attached.
