Welcome to Wodensborough.
Our “inclusive and welcoming” school “is improving across all key areas” and we are now full and over-subscribed at Key Stage 3. Personal development, behaviour and welfare are now “Good” as are Leadership and Management. We are very much on the journey to becoming a “Good” school and we are immensely proud of our achievements to date. We invest in our staff and value their work and their contribution to raising standards. We are proud to serve our local community and we are proud to be part of the Ormiston Academies Trust, a family of schools who are all committed to being the trust that makes the biggest difference. We are now seeking to appoint an individual who shares our passion and commitment to ensuring the very highest standards of provision for all pupils and who can take teaching and learning to outstanding levels.
We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching & learning in science who can support us in achieving our aim of securing excellent outcomes for all of our students. You will have a passion for working with disadvantaged young people and will want to play a key role in improving outcomes in this area. You may also have a passion for leading on improving teaching and learning within a specific Key Stage (either KS3 or KS4) or have a particular interest in coaching and delivering CPD. There is opportunity to become a specialist leader in education (SLE) and also to undertake the NPQSL – You may be seeking your first leadership role or be ready to step up to a senior leadership post, either way we can offer you the opportunity and experience to fulfill your career aspirations.
You will join a supportive, highly talented and committed team of science specialists who have achieved record examination results. You will also be a member of our extended leadership team, with a specific focus on teaching & learning in your subject area.
We change lives at WOA. We value our staff and to enable us to do this, we invest in their CPD and career development. A move to Wodensborough is a move you will not regret. If you believe that children come first and want to feel valued as a professional, please come and see us.
