Our “inclusive and welcoming” school “is improving across all key areas” and we are now full and over-subscribed at Key Stage 3. We are now seeking to appoint an individual who shares our passion and commitment to ensuring the very highest standards of provision for all pupils and who can take progress and achievement to outstanding levels.
We are looking for a talented leader with a passion for raising standards through excellence in teaching & learning in their own classroom and through ensuring the very highest standards of behaviour, engagement and classroom based interventions in order to raise achievement. You will take responsibility for our year 11 cohorts pastoral needs on a day to day basis, supported by a strong student welfare team.
As well as being an excellent subject teacher in one of the core subjects you will also have a proven track record in working with disadvantaged young people and will want to play a lead role in further raising achievement at Wodensborough. You will have a clear vision for what excellence looks like and you will have the drive and the tenacity to put this vision into action. You will lead by example and will have the credibility and the skills needed to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and stakeholders – you will be able to build the strongest possible team. Our pupils will be at the very heart of every decision you make and you will inspire, engage and motivate all staff, students and their families to achieve beyond their own expectations.
As a key player on our leadership team you will play a pivotal role in our school improvement journey. You will join a supportive, highly talented and committed team of leaders and staff who are working hard to secure record examination results and sustainable improvements across every area of provision.
